What We Do
Raise Funds
We inform and raise awareness within the Pemberton community about our healthcare needs and actively support and promote the establishment of medical services, facilities, and equipment throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor.
The Pemberton & District Health Care Foundation is tasked with liaising with Vancouver Coastal Health and partner agencies to coordinate funding and delivery of enhancements to local healthcare services.
Raise Awareness
We are committed to serving as the leading facilitator for healthcare donations in Pemberton, dedicated to raising funds through a range of events, campaigns, and grants.
Current Project
The Pemberton Health Care Centre is run by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH),
and it holds an emergency department with five beds and operates 24/7. We
are tasked with liaising with Vancouver Coastal Health and partner agencies
to coordinate funding and delivery of enhancements to local healthcare
services.
We are currently fundraising for a new point-of-care ultrasound machine,
desktop baby. scale replacement, tonometer, pediatric care cart and new
patient monitoring system replacements.
