Since the Pemberton and District Health Care Foundation’s inception, the goal has been to enhance and expand the health care services in the Pemberton area. The Foundation originally was formed as the Pemberton and District Hospital Society. In 1995, the name was changed to the Pemberton and District Health Care Foundation, but the focus has remained steadfast; serving as the leading facilitator for healthcare donations in the Pemberton area, dedicated to raising funds through a range of events, campaigns, and grants. The Foundation is proud of the fundraising success over the years, and the equipment purchased to strengthen health care in the region. Some of the equipment includes a Cold Lamp, Lab Analyser, Whistler CT Scanner, Macerator, Orthopedic C-Arm for OR, Ultrasound Transducer, GlideScope AVlL, and a ventilator.
