I am currently retired from professional life as a general dentist. I built the first dental office in Pemberton in 1978 bringing much needed Dental services to Whistler and Pemberton. I established dental public health and education programs for Mt Currie children. During my professional life, I served on two committees for the College of Dental Surgeons. After selling my practice, I did several locums in Newfoundland and then I spent the last 10 years practising part-time in Sechelt, BC. I have been an active volunteer in the Pemberton community for 48 years since I moved here. I started and ran the Pemberton Youth Soccer Club.in 1991 as well as coached and refereed for over 30 years. I was past president of.PYSA, Pemberton Arts Council, and have served on many local committees such as the Pemberton Recreation Committee for PVUS. I was an active Rotarian and was involved in many community building projects.

I instigated the Pemberton Community Barn building project with the village and was heavily involved in the construction process helping to coordinate the Timber Framers.

I have also volunteered with Pemberton Stewardship as well as AWARE in Whistler. I have volunteered with WMSC when my two kids were ski racing. My current passions are my two young grandchildren, qi gong, skiing, gardening and hiking.

I remain committed to advancing and supporting health care and education. Hopefully, my membership in PDHCF can contribute towards these goals.
